Welcome to the North London Rifle Club

The North London Rifle Club (NLRC) is a club that is steeped in tradition, focused on the development, improvement and transfer of the knowledge and skills in the art of Competition Target Shooting.

It has colourful and active membership with some of the finest shooters and wind coaches in the UK. The club fields several shooting teams across the year that go shoulder-to-shoulder with most international teams.

“The North” is famous throughout the world, with a rich history of achievement on the ranges by its members, well-documented on the many Honours Boards in the beautiful dining room. The club’s colonial style veranda looks out onto the Exhibition Lawn at Bisley Camp and is an ideal location to use as your base for shooting at Bisley or to host events in our clubhouse.

Club Activities

The North London Rifle Club is one of the oldest competitive rifle shooting organisations, both in the UK and around the world. Dating from 1880 and based in North London before moving to Bisley between 1902-1904. There is a wealth of history, experience and knowledge residing within its walls. It is our aspiration to add to that history.

Originally founded on service rifle shooting, the NLRC now caters for Target Rifle (TR), Match Rifle (MR) and F-Class (FC). In addition, our members are also active in Gallery Rifle, Black Powder, McQueen Castle as well as clay pigeon, hunting and vermin shooting. We encourage all members to get involved in these Disciplines and develop their skills through coaching, shared experience and team competition.
