Visiting members and residents can anticipate a Breakfast service, ranging from a more modest self-serve breakfast of cereals, baked goods, juices and hot drinks in the quieter months to a range of options cooked to order when activity levels increase.
Usual service is Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 09:00 during the shooting season, with additional weekday service during Shooting Meetings. We take bookings for events, so if you need breakfast earlier in the week do enquire.
The NLRC serves an excellent range of wholesome sandwiches over lunch (BLT, Chicken, Ham & Cheese, etc). If there isn’t a sandwich to your liking, or you would like an alternative, please do enquire when ordering food at the Bar.
There is normally a lunchtime hot option menu ranging from bowls of Chips or Cheesy Chips to a more substantial hot meal e.g. Scampi and Chips, Steak and Ale Pie, and home-made Cornish Pasties (advanced order required).
Members can place an advance order for lunch if required to facilitate a rapid turnaround. We also offer a takeaway service for your journey home, or to the range, from breakfast to lunch.
During the Shooting Season a wholesome supper is normally available on Friday and Saturday evenings. Popular favourites include hearty Shepherd’s Pie, tasty Coq au Vin, sumptuous Beef Bourguignon, fiery Curry, creamy Fish Pie, luxury Lasagne and our classic Carvery.
Fine Dining is also available by prior arrangement with our Steward. Numerous options exist from three to five course meals and is appropriate for groups of 12 or more.
Many teams utilise the outstanding NLRC facilities since the clubhouse provides the ideal venue for meetings, discussions, meals and related social activities. Group Bookings should be made using the Request Form or by direct enquiry to our Steward: steward@nlrc.org
